- The Center for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) concludes that one in 150 of our children have
Autism.
- More children will be diagnosed with
Autism than with AIDS, Diabetes and Cancer combined.
- Autism is the fastest growing
Developmental Disability in the U.S.
Autism cost our nation over $90 Billion per year and is expected
to double in the next ten years.
- The cost of bringing one child through
adulthood can exceed $3 million.*
- Autism receives less than 5% of the
research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases.
- The absolute despair felt by parents when
confronted by Autism.*
- There is an urgency to provide treatment
and care for the child and family to combat this “theft of
mind”.
